Make a Joyful Noise to the Lord

Psalms has always been my favorite Book of the Bible. The reason for this is because most of the time, when I was little, I would hear and learn from the Psalms through song. There are so many Psalms that, whenever I hear them read, my memory takes me back to the melody and Lyrics / Words of the Psalm that we used to sing! Truly, one of the most joyful noises from my memories of Church as a child, and still today!

Music is, in my mind, one of God's gifts to us that enables us to truly articulate emotions and, in this case, praise and love to God! Psalm 100 is short and sweet, but oh so powerful! It is reminding us to live lives of gratitude toward God, from Whom all good things come!
Who is the source of our Faith? God!
Where is our hope? In God!
Where do we learn to love and receive the greatest love of all? Through God!
And, as His sheep, we are all called to live in joy and thanksgiving and share that Faith, Hope, and Love with others! This isn't an easy task, especially with all of the hardships that we face in the world:
- those in the Middle East (Iran, Israel, the Strait of Hormuz)
- those in areas where people unfairly live in poverty
- the unjust obstacles that oh too many people still face in our world, including in the United States - because of things like race, ethnicity, language, orientation, social status, economic status, where we live, differences in political opinion, differences in Religion, etc.
- those in our own communities. They are hard. But remember who protects us, who is the Good Shepherd, who always hears, sees, and cares for us, who has never deserted us and who never will, and who would never put us in situations that we cannot handle, through effort, reaching out for help, helping others, and through prayer? God. He's the answer. Take a look at Verse 5 of this Psalm for even more reassurance of this!
"5 For the Lord is good.
his steadfast love endures forever, and his faithfulness to all generations."
God bless us all!
