Thomas said to him, Lord, we do not know where you are going. How can we know the way? Jesus said to him, I am the way and the truth and the life." John 14:5-6a Sunday is going to be another special day in the life of our church! Our service will focus on Jesus proclaiming that he is the way, the truth and the life. Did you know that the early Christians called themselves "The Way"? What does Jesus being "the way" mean to you? I invite you to think about and ponder that in preparation for tomorrow's worship! Also, we will have a guest musician with us in worship: Nathan May. Nathan May says he is a "music educator and DJ by day and a husband/father by night." He is a member of an a capella group called "Good Company." He will lead and guide us in spiritual hymn singing. Thank you to the amazing Girl Scouts and Cub Scouts who lead us in worship last Sunday! We are so happy to affirm and bless you as you journey in Scouts! Thank you to Ali Snook, Dawn Kern, and Emily Stoltzfus for the inspiring message! How are you doing with your Lenten spiritual disciplines? I encourage you to find one or two simple ways to be mindful of God this season in a different way. We are about halfway through Lent. If you are working to focus, keep on going! Singing hymns are a great part of the Methodist tradition. On Sunday, March 17 at the 8:30 and 11:00 services, guest musician Nathan May will be leading the congregation in hymn singing. Above all sing spiritually. Have an eye to God in every word you sing.

The adult reading cart is for anyone, and has a nice selection of really good books. Stop by and check one out. Also, the children have a very large selection of books available for all ages. The children's book corner is decorated for Easter and has a big selection of Easter themed titles. There is a checkout sheet on the wall -- let's get some new readers.

SPRC News
Beginning in March the duties of Digital Content Creator, particularly the slides for our worship services, will be fulfilled by Michelle Weaver, BUMC's Administrative Assistant. Joey Capuano is stepping down from this position, but he will continue to manage BUMC's Facebook page as a volunteer. MARK YOUR CALENDARS!! JUNE 16-21: MISSION TRIP!! OUR DUMBUM YOUTH 2024 MISSION TRIP IS LOCKED IN!! WE'RE HEADING TO PITTSBURGH!!!! We are partnering with Group Mission Trip! If you know that you are ready to register, the REGISTRATION LINK IS HERE! This will take you directly to Group's site to register for our trip. You must be 18 or older to use the site (That means parents, you will have to register your child!) If you have any questions, please let me know! DEADLINE TO REGISTER IS APRIL 1!! That gives you all of March to decide if you would like to join us and give me plenty of time to make the final payments! Again, if you have any questions, please let me know!!
